Hockey, netball and cricket, with strong participation in rowing, athletics and a wide range of additional sports.

Stand-out facilities

A striking STEAM tower combining science and creative subjects, a modern sixth form centre, theatre spaces and excellent sports provision including a swimming pool and off-site playing fields near the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Saturday school

Occasional fixtures.

Our takeaway

Wimbledon High combines serious academic standards with a lively intellectual culture where curiosity is encouraged and individuality valued. The atmosphere is purposeful but warm, and girls emerge articulate, thoughtful and well prepared for life beyond school.

"Above all, I'm proud to be leading a dynamic, academically adventurous school where staff and girls take themselves seriously but hold themselves lightly."

Fionnuala Kennedy
